STATE OF ALASKA
LOCAL BOUNDARY COMMISSION (LBC) NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING


The LBC will meet on Thursday, January 11, 2007, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held by teleconference originating in Suite 1760, 550 West Seventh Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska. Items on the agenda include:

(1) consideration of a request by the City of Soldotna to relax or suspend procedural regulations as allowed by 3 AAC 110.660 with respect to a prospective petition for annexation of 1.6 acres;

(2) adoption of a statement of decision regarding the Skagway borough proposal;

(3) review of a draft public notice of the proposed amendments to LBC regulations and plan for public hearings;

(4) review of LBC annual report to 2007 Legislature; and

(5) scheduling of hearing on Deltana Borough proposal.
