In your cover letter located on the Job Qualification Summary, it is required to support your knowledge, skills and abilities as they pertain to the key responsibilities, and desired skills and strengths listed in the job description above. In addition, you must clearly explain how you meet the Minimum Qualifications.
Your cover letter will be considered as a writing sample and will be used to determine which applicants will advance to the interview phase of the recruitment and selection process.
WORK EXPERIENCE
If using work experience not already documented in your Applicant Profile, also provide the employer name, your job title, dates of employment and whether full- or part-time. Applicant Profiles and Job Qualification Summaries will be reviewed to determine if the minimum qualifications are clearly met. If they are not, the applicant may not advance to the interview and selection phase of the recruitment.
EDUCATION
If post-secondary education is required to meet the minimum qualifications, you must fill in the Education and Training section of the Applicant Profile. If you have not obtained a degree, please indicate the number of credit hours earned in the Degrees Obtained field. Copies of transcripts will be required at time of interview.
